Meet Paul A. Palliser, DDS PC
Dentist in Cary, IL
I have lived all my life in the Chicagoland area, from Norridge to Chicago to Cary. I have been practicing in Cary, Illinois since 1989. I wanted to be a dentist since the fourth grade. I even have that school letter, “what I want to be when I grow up” posted in my office!
My Bachelor of Science Degree in 1981 from Loyola University of Chicago prepared me for my acceptance and education at Loyola University School of Dentistry where I received my D.D.S. degree in 1988. During my undergraduate years at Loyola, I met my wife, Lynn, who has been my partner in life and our dental practice.
I was invited in 2013 to become a Fellow of the American College of Dentistry, and in October of 2018, I was also invited to become a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, the oldest major honorary organization for dentists. Only 3.5% of dentists are Fellows of these prestigious institutions that recognize leadership and ethics.

In September of 2018, I was elected for a 3-year term to be a Trustee for the NW District of the Illinois State Dental Society (there are a total of 14 Trustees in the Illinois State Dental Society). I have served as President of the McHenry County Dental Society 2001-2002, and all officer and director levels leading up to the president’s position. It has been an honor and pleasure to have been elected five times by dentists throughout the State of Illinois to serve on the Illinois State Dental Society‘s delegation to the American Dental Association’s House of Delegates. I was also a two-time Chairman of the Illinois State Dental Society’s Benefits Committee, and 12 times I have served as a delegate or alternate to the Illinois State Dental Society’s House of Delegates.
As a Pac director for the McHenry County Dental Society, I have gained an understanding to appreciate and work with our state legislators and the legislative process. I have enjoyed volunteering several times for the ISDS Mission of Mercy that rotates locations around the State of Illinois. It has been an incredible experience for me. I am also an associate member of the Chicago Dental Society. It has been, and is currently, a pleasure serving on national, state and local levels of organized dentistry.
Locally, I am volunteering at a dental clinic in McHenry County, serving on their advisory board, and volunteering at health fairs providing free dental exams for children of McHenry County. I have also volunteered with “Children’s Dental Health Month” and “Give Kid’s a Smile” events during the month of February. My community and church involvements have been great sources of pride for me, and have allowed me to be able to “give back”. Each holiday season I and my staff serve as Salvation Army bell ringers. My office has also become an Angel Tree location for collecting Christmas gifts for the families of McHenry County that are served by the Salvation Army.
I have been truly blessed to have such an amazing wife and two wonderful children. My family and friends have made my life full and inspired. I love anything that is family orientated from vacations to bringing out a board game to play with my children. I love traveling to educational seminars around the world mixing both business and pleasure. Outdoor activities, from bike riding to landscaping to swimming, help to provide enrichment in my life. A good book, especially a mystery-action novel, is a great way for me to also “unwind”.
My patients and dental practice have given me a source of pride and lifelong fulfillment. I am truly blessed.
